MISS HAVISHAM ASSESSMENT

MISS HAVISHAM - FIRST

From this influences of the previous photos i had to a create my interpretation of Miss Havisham.

I went for a natural plain look, as i thought she would be over the top full of make up neither did i want her looking completely gross.

Things i needed;

  • Hair kit;
     Brush, Comb, Hair spray, Dry shampoo, Clips.
  • Make up;
     Natural skin tone pallette, Make up brushes, Mascara
  • Props;
      Wedding Vale, Clips.
  • FaceCharts.
  • Consultation
Step by step preparing the make up;

  1. Cleanse, Tone, Moisturise.
  2. Apply to Base to models face make sure you buff it out really well.
  3. Using your Darkest Powder, apply under the eye, this will reflect as dark circles, meaning lack of sleep; blend away round the eyes.
  4. Using your Duo Eyelash glue and apply to a area you would like to dry/ scabby skin. E.g corner of lip nose.
  5. Powder around the face to set the foundation.
  6. Around the lips using a very light red and vaseline apply to the dry lips making them look sore.

Preparing the hair;

  1. Section the hair of into a a T section.
  2. Around the edge of the hair line ( bottom of the kneck ) Curl
  3. Both sections of the T section hair Curl
  4. Rest of the hair put in a hair tie plait and pin into a bun
  5. Your choice of prop, i used a wedding vale Apply this over the bun and pin.
  6. Using curls from the front pin around the Vale
  7. Finish touches, apply from the root dry shampoo this will make the hair look gray and aging.
Disadvantages
  • I found i didn't have my confident in myself so i stuck to a simple design with the hair, something in know would work with any hair type.
  • Next time i will try to step outside the comfort zone and explore my abilities more.
Advantages.
  • Hair was a great length and work well with the design.
  • Skin was smooth and fantastic to work on, proving my ability to be able to buff the make up into the skin.
